Collaboration with De Correspondent
Building a content curation pipeline tailored to working journalists
In 2025, with support from the Dutch foundation SIDN Fonds, we teamed up with De Correspondent to build a content curation pipeline tailored to working journalists.
Every month, De Correspondent's editorial team sent us a research brief, usually focused on a specific angle or an underexplored narrative. We turned each one into a curated reading list. These consisted of journalistic essays, podcasts, academic papers, and videos, and were enriched with summaries, metadata, and "nuggets" like quotations and statistics pulled directly from the texts.
Six digests were delivered over the course of the project, covering topics from the political economy of US import tariffs on Europe to the politicization of the judiciary, EU asylum reception policies, the environmental footprint of domestic pets, and much more.
